Fantastic Forum returns to Lund on November 1–2, 2026, bringing together filmmakers and other creatives for two days of talks, works in progress, networking and professional exchange.

As Lund Fantastic’s dedicated industry programme, Fantastic Forum offers a space to meet colleagues, discover new projects and gain practical insight into different parts of the film industry. Rather than focusing on a single area of filmmaking, the programme brings together perspectives from development, production, distribution, international sales, festivals and the wider creative sector.

This year’s programme will include seminars on international film sales and horror screenwriting, alongside work in progress presentations from local animators. Participants will have the opportunity to hear directly from industry professionals, discuss projects and working methods, and connect with filmmakers and colleagues from Sweden and abroad.

Fantastic Forum also includes networking opportunities throughout the programme, creating an informal setting for new conversations, collaborations and professional connections.

The programme forms part of Lund Fantastic Film Festival and also includes Finn Fantastic, the festival’s Swedish short film competition, showcasing new voices in Swedish fantastic cinema.
