Lund Fantastic Film Festival is a genre film festival in Lund, Sweden, dedicated to horror, science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, animation, cult cinema and other films that explore the fantastic in all its forms.
The 2026 edition takes place October 28 to November 4.

Tickets will be available online at the festival website, as well as at the Kino box office shortly before the festival.
No. The membership fee is included in the ticket price, so you do not need to sign up separately. Please keep your ticket, as it also serves as your membership token.
We offer discounted tickets for students and seniors. Some special events may have separate ticket prices.

Festival passes will be avaible when tickets are released.
Purchased tickets are generally non-refundable, unless a screening is cancelled or significantly changed. A purchased ticket may be exchanged for a ticket to another screening.
If you are travelling internationally, the easiest airport is usually Copenhagen Airport (CPH). From there, you can take a direct train across the bridge to Lund.
Cinema Kino is located in central Lund (Kyrkogatan 3), about a 5-minute walk from Lund Central Station. We recommend using public transport and walking when getting around central Lund.
Parking and car access in central Lund is limited. There is no dedicated festival parking outside Cinema Kino. If you are arriving by car, we recommend checking available public parking options in good time.
Films are usually screened in English or with English subtitles, unless otherwise stated in the programme.
The majority of films at Lund Fantastic are rated 15+, unless otherwise stated. The festival normally includes a few titles suitable for children and families, which will be clearly marked in the programme.
No. Lund Fantastic is an in-cinema festival and films are screened at our festival venues.
Kino has its own serving with snacks and drinks available. Please do not bring outside food or drinks into the cinema.
No photography or filming is allowed during screenings. Photos before or after events are usually fine, unless otherwise stated. Please be mindful of other audience members, staff and guests.

Yes. Most filmmakers and guests are happy to speak with the audience during the festival. Please be respectful of their time and privacy.
No. There is no dress code for regular screenings and events. For Halloween screenings and special events, costumes are very welcome, but never required.
