Hedonistic pianist and spoiled heir Boyd Grayson takes great pleasure in provoking his acid-tongued mother, Jacqueline. But when a freak accident leaves him without his hands, she spares no expense restoring him with radical new technology: prosthetics controlled by his subconscious.

The experiment appears to be a success—until Boyd’s darkest impulses begin taking physical form. As severed hands roam the halls and the bodies start piling up, the poisonous relationship between mother and son descends into a gleefully bloody nightmare.

Glenn McQuaid is an Irish filmmaker and screenwriter known for blending horror with dark comedy, camp and melodrama. He made his feature debut with I Sell the Dead and later directed the “Tuesday the 17th” segment of the horror anthology V/H/S.

A longtime collaborator with Larry Fessenden and Glass Eye Pix, McQuaid also co-created the audio horror anthology Tales from Beyond the Pale. 

McQuaid also records music under the name Witchboard and co-composed the score for The Restoration at Grayson Manor.
