Lund Fantastic Film Festival will, for the fifth consecutive year, present the award for Best Fantastic Short Film at Pixel Skånes Short Film Festival.

The festival takes place on May 9, 2026, in Landskrona, in collaboration with the City of Landskrona, with screenings held at Landskrona Theatre and Biograf Maxim.

The award is presented to a short film in the programme that stands out within fantastic cinema, including horror, science fiction, and fantasy. The winning film will receive a screening and accreditation to Lund Fantastic Film Festival, which takes place October 28 to November 4 in Lund.

The jury is led by Gustav Angel, Head of Short Film Programming.
