Lund Fantastic Film Festival Co-Presents The Virgin of the Quarry Lake at IFEMA+ 20th Anniversary
Lund Fantastic Film Festival will co-present The Virgin of the Quarry Lake (Laura Casabé, Argentina) as part of IFEMA+’s 20th anniversary celebrations in Malmö.
The anniversary edition takes place April 20–26 at Biograf Panora and marks two decades of IFEMA+ as a festival focused on female filmmakers. The programme includes a range of events such as feature films, short film programmes, panel discussions, work-in-progress sessions, mingles, and quizzes.
IFEMA+ 2026 is organised in collaboration with several film festivals and industry organisations in Skåne, including Filmcentrum Syd, OFF, MAFF, BUFF, and Lund Fantastic Film Festival.
As part of the collaboration, Lund Fantastic Film Festival will also host a quiz titled Women in Film, focusing on female filmmakers and their contributions to cinema.
