Swedish Short Film Competition

Finn Fantastic returns with some of the strongest Swedish genre short films of the year, competing at Lund Fantastic Film Festival 2026.

The nominated films show the range and energy of contemporary Swedish genre filmmaking, from horror and science fiction to fantasy, thriller, dark comedy and the strange spaces in between. Together they showcase new voices and bold ideas.

Screening & Q&A

The competing films screen at Kino, Lund on 1 November. Several of the filmmakers will attend to present their films, and there will be a Q&A with the audience after the screening.

The Prize

A professional jury will select the winner, who receives 10,000 SEK, sponsored by the Swedish Film Institute.
