Young orphan Momo lives in the ruins of an old Roman amphitheatre, where her gift for listening makes her a beloved friend to everyone in the neighbourhood. Based on Michael Ende’s classic 1973 novel Momo, the story follows her as a powerful corporation persuades people to save time, turning everyday life into a relentless pursuit of efficiency. Soon no one has time for one another—not even Momo’s best friend Gino.
Guided by a mysterious tortoise to Master Hora, the guardian of time, Momo sets out to challenge the Grey Men and return the stolen time to her city.
