Francesco is a film critic based in Bologna, Italy. He is currently head of the selection committee at the Calvert Journal Film Festival for three sections: fiction feature, animation film and experimental film.
He has been working as a film selector for the official competition at the Italian festival Presente Italiano in Pistoia, since its first edition in 2015.
In 2017 he was the Biografilm Festival program advisor and in 2020 he was editor-in-chief of Mediacritica, an Italian web magazine about cinema and audiovisual culture.
He has written hundreds of film reviews, articles and essays about worldwide cinema and he has a strong background in film studies.
Maritte holds an MA in film and media production from the Lund University. Since 2012, she has been involved in several film festivals in the south of Sweden.
Her home base was Lund Fantastic Film Festival, where she took over as festival director from 2018 to 2020. Furthermore, she works as a pitch producer and projects manager at M:brane – a pitch forum for youth content – and a programmer and programming coordinator at Cold Hawaii Surf & Film Festival, in Denmark.
Maritte enjoys ultra violent films, but balances it out with a good amount of k-drama.
Hillevi is a writer and filmmaker based in Southern Sweden. Among other things, she has written and directed the fantastical audio drama The London Necropolis Railway. In the past she has served as the programmer for the VR section at Lund Fantastic Film Festival.
She is currently working with the regional resource centre BoostHbg to develop the regional film community.
