Identity Crisis: A Suspense package – Online Screening

October 28 @ 17:00 - November 1 @ 23:59

- 4EURO

It’s likely we all go through some sort of identity crisis in our lives; however, these stories lie at the extremes of shifting identities with high stakes and dire consequences. Escaped mental patients, psychotic artists, vengeful vigilantes, scheming actors, jealous lovers and hopeful immigrants all make an appearance throughout the films in this package.

Sometimes an identity change is a means to an end such as a vigilante out for justice, immigrants in search of a better life or a struggling actor impersonating someone for financial gain. But in the case of an escaped mental patient, the story is less clear and we have to study the clues to figure out what is going on. Similarly, an artist suffering a mental breakdown certainly knows things aren’t right but can she solve the mystery of what’s going on before she goes completely insane? Speaking of mysteries, a remote Finnish island is probably not the best place to take your girlfriend when your relationship is on the rocks and it’s the exact location the dark secret you tried to forget happened.

Whether the change is initiated intentionally or not, the exploration of identity in each film is delivered with suspenseful and thrilling results!
