The Unstoppable Spoonkiller Short Films of Richard Gale

In 2008, the three-time Los Angeles Area Emmy Award winning writer and director, Richard Gale created the horror comedy short The Horribly Slow Murderer with the Extremely Inefficient Weapon. The film was showcased at more than 70 film festivals, received numerous awards (including the Audience Award for Best Short Film here at LIFFF) and was selected by Variety as one of the “highlights of the Sitges Film Festival.”

After its festival run, Horribly Slow Murderer launched on YouTube, and has received more than 29 million views.  It spawned a web series and developed an international cult following, with several fans getting permanent tattoos of images from the film!  Gale is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to make a feature-length version of the film.  So far, it is ranked as the #9 Most Funded Horror Project in the history of Kickstarter.

With him to Lund and us he will bring a rare treat to present on the big screen: his collection of horror-comedy shorts about the unstoppable killer with a spoon! Includes the World Premiere of the complete Ginosaji vs. Ginosaji series edited as one crazy film, to be screened for the first time ever!
