You will howl with laughter at this spanish horror/comedy werewolf flick! This fantastic film is a tribute to old school classics like An American Werewolf in London, following the director’s thought that monsters should be monsters – not sex objects.

Tomas, a young novelist with writer’s block, decides to go out to his old childhood home, where he hasn’t been since he was a kid. He has great expectations that his book will basically write itself once he gets some peace and quiet in the idyllic countryside. But what he gets is the darker side of the country. With a childhood friend, his editor, one small dog and a really tough policeman, Tomas is forced to face hordes of paranoid villagers at their very worst. And not only that. It’s a full moon, and everyone knows what that means.

An extremely funny film with ancient gypsy curses, some very silly Spanish men and a priest gone bad. And werewolves. Lots and lots of werewolves.
