47 Meters Down

The oceans finest villain is back! And as usual, it’s looking for blood. Human blood! The shark does not stop fascinating and terrorizing us – perhaps more in our phobias and movies than in reality, but still, the horror is realer than real.

After a tough break-up, Lisa (Mandy More) travels to Mexico with her sister Kate (Claire Holt) to lick her wounds and forget her sorrows. Once in the holiday paradise, they meet with two fancy and adventurous locals (Yani Gellman and Santiago Segura) who persuade them to join them for a diving excursion with… sharks! Of course it will not be long before the disaster is a fact. The cable holding the cage breaks and they plummet 47 meters down. The cage that just seconds ago was their only protection against the terror that lurks around them, has now turned into a prison and the oxygen tickles away, one panicked breath at a time…

47 Meters Down is an absolutely nerve-wrecking shark-horror that will make your underlying selachophobia tingle (or worse) and you’ll praise the Swedish weather for having a sort of non-existing bathing season.
